Senior growth leadership, without the full‑time hire.
I'm Brad Clarke. I help ecommerce, DTC and performance-driven brands build go-to-market engines that compound: the strategy, the channel mix, and the hands-on work to make it run. A decade of operating experience, embedded with your team.

Brands usually get in touch when one of these is true
The founder is still running marketing
The business needs someone senior to own growth, but a full-time VP doesn't make sense yet.
One paid channel brings in most of the revenue
Meta or Google drives most sales and costs keep going up. Nobody has time to build a second channel.
A launch is coming up
A new product or market is on the way and there's no clear plan for how to sell it.
It's hard to tell which spend is profitable
Ad budgets have grown, and the reporting doesn't show which campaigns are making money.
Ways to work together
Every engagement starts with a look at your numbers. After that, choose how involved you want me to be.

- Campaign & creative reviews
- Partner & vendor introductions
What I work on
I've done this work for brands like VICE and MyDrHank and in my own businesses, so I can carry out the plan as well as write it.
| Paid acquisition | Meta and Google, with budgets set by CAC and payback period |
|---|---|
| Affiliate & partnerships | Affiliate programs and publisher deals on cost-per-acquisition terms |
| Content & SEO | Commerce content and advertorials that reach shoppers who are ready to buy |
| Funnel & CRO | Offers and landing pages through to checkout |
| Analytics & attribution | Tracking setup and reporting your team can rely on |
| Retention & LTV | Subscription programs and repeat-purchase offers |
| GTM strategy | Positioning and launch plans for new products and markets |
| Ecommerce operations | Hands-on experience with manufacturing and shipping |
How an engagement starts
The first two weeks are an audit of your channels and unit economics, so the plan is based on your own numbers before anything changes.
By week three we agree on a 90-day plan with targets and a list of tests. From there I run the work with your team. We review results weekly and move budget toward what's working.
Over time, the goal is for your team to own all of it.

Ad operations at AdMaxim, then supply partnerships at Drawbridge, which LinkedIn later acquired.
My own businesses

Consulting
Fractional growth leadership and advisory. Previously advised Offline Studio on commerce strategy.

FAQ
What does "fractional" mean?
I work as a senior member of your team on a part-time basis, typically one to three days a week. I join your meetings and own goals the way an in-house leader would, for a fraction of the cost of a full-time executive.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency usually runs one or two channels. I set the overall growth plan and decide where budget and agency time go. Many clients keep their agencies, and I help them get more from them.
Do you do the hands-on work?
Yes. Depending on your team, I build campaigns, set up affiliate programs, write landing page briefs and fix tracking. Over time your team takes that work over.
How are engagements priced?
Fractional and advisory work is a fixed monthly retainer based on the time involved. Audits and sprints are fixed-scope projects. For the right partner, I'm open to a performance-based component tied to agreed growth metrics.
What's the minimum commitment?
Sprints run four to six weeks. Fractional engagements start with a three-month term, since it takes about that long to see results from the first round of work. After that they continue month to month.

The first call is free and takes 30 minutes. We'll go over your current numbers and where growth has slowed, then decide whether working together makes sense.
